What Is Among Us?

Among Us is a multiplayer social deduction game where 4 to 15 players take on the roles of Crewmates and Impostors aboard a spaceship. Crewmates must complete tasks around the map while trying to figure out who the Impostor is. The Impostor's goal is to sabotage the ship and eliminate Crewmates without getting caught.

Each round, players can call emergency meetings or report dead bodies to discuss who they think the Impostor is. The crew votes to eject a player — but be careful, voting out the wrong person helps the Impostor win!

How to Play

As a Crewmate

Your goal is to complete all your tasks or find and vote out the Impostor. Walk around the map, interact with task stations, and keep an eye on suspicious behavior. If you find a dead body, report it immediately to start a discussion.

Stick together with other players for safety, but remember — the Impostor could be anyone. Pay attention to who was near the body, who has been faking tasks, and who seems to be lying during meetings.

As the Impostor

Your mission is to eliminate Crewmates without getting caught. Blend in by pretending to do tasks, use the sabotage system to create chaos, and pick off isolated Crewmates. You can also use vents to quickly move around the map.

During meetings, deflect suspicion onto other players. A skilled Impostor can manipulate the crew into voting out innocent players. The game ends when Impostors equal the number of remaining Crewmates.
